Synopsis

Tomoko dreads the end of summer break in four days and her return to school. She tries to hypnotize herself into liking school by standing in front of a mirror, smiling, and repeating that she "loves" school. The next day, Tomoki notices her odd behavior and searches it on his phone. Meanwhile, in her bed, Tomoko keeps her happy smile and repeating to herself that she loves school.

Tomoko's mother scolds her for "spacing out" at breakfast. Tomoko goes to school but then wonders what happened to the three remaining days of break. She suddenly wakes up in bed. She burst into her brother's room and is delighted to learn that he is still there and not in school. She confirms that her summer break is not over on his calender. 

While she cries tears of joy and vows to live her remaining three days of break to the fullest, Tomoki picks her up and slaps her as he demands that she wake up. Tomoko inwardly notes that she ended up doing nothing of significance those remaining days.
