Yocchan (よっちゃん, Yocchan^?) is a minor character who appears only once in both the manga and anime adaptations. He is an elementary school kid who is challenged by and loses to Tomoko in a card game.

Personality

His personality is unknown other than he enjoys playing card games. He may be very confident, or possibly even over confident, as he willingly accepts the challenge from "Queen" Tomoko. Shown more in the anime, he plays his match without fear or concern during her turns and with only seriousness and confidence during his own. He does not talk in the manga.

Appearance

Yocchan's appearance in the anime varies considerably from his appearance within the manga. In the anime, he wears round glasses and has a spiked up haircut, while his manga counterpart has no glasses and a messy bowl cut. His anime appearance also seems to be a little chubby and is drawn comically with "fish lips" to indicate his confidence in beating "The Queen."

Their only known interaction is through their game. He probably knows of her reputation given her ranking.

Trivia

• Despite Tomoko saying she wanted to challenge the strongest player, Yocchan's name does not actually appear in the top five card rankings, making him only an above average card player.
• He only actually appears in one panel of the manga.
